Mr. Brijlal Kshatriya is a Management Consultant who works with clients to maximise value through people, productivity and performance. He brings with him a towering reputation as a master of the management of change, in the practical exercise of his profound human resource skills. An engineering graduate from BHU, he worked in the public sector steel industry for over three decades. His vast experience includes leadership roles in HR, Marketing, Projects and Operations. He held various positions of responsibility in Rourkela, Bhilai and Bokaro Steel Plants, rising Director Projects, SAIL and Managing Director SAIL, Bokaro Steel Plant. Mr Kshatriya was a key player in successfully implementing SAIL`s turnaround strategies - called the Priorities for Action.

This brought about a sea change in the work culture of the Company, directly impacting nearly a quarter of a million personnel in one of the most daring and imaginative processes of change anywhere in the world. It was again under his stewardship that Bokaro Steel Plant finally achieved its potential and became the powerhouse of profit in SAIL – effectively transforming the attitudes and approach of the entire Plant. He has similarly led many successful start-up projects, facilitated several change management initiatives, and contributed significantly to the company`s turnaround strategy. Widely travelled, Mr. Kshatriya is a keen student of human behaviour and the impact of change management initiatives in transforming organisational culture. in attitudes and practices in the most challenging circumstances won him recognition in India and abroad:

Mr Sudhir Nijhawan, the Founder Director of Strategic HR Services is an engineer by profession. Having acquired a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, he went on to do a Bachelor’s in Marine Engineering and later completed his Chief Engineer’s Competency Licenses. He had had twenty years experience in the shipping industry, mostly with multinational companies when he decided to set up Strategic HR Services. He started his career as a design engineer in Engineers India Limited. He then moved to Shipping Corporation of India, where he held the post of Chief Engineer for seven years before joining Aaby Shipping Company, Oslo, Norway, where he worked as Technical Manager for nine years. His next assignment was as Auditor and Quality Manager at DNV, Oslo, Norway for another three years. Mr Nijhawan is a Certified Surveyor from

Deciding to return to India, he started Strategic HR Services Pvt Ltd in late 2002 and went about building it up with his usual thoroughness and enthusiasm. Mr Nijhawan quickly identified the courses, programmes and skills needed to help the Company fulfil the needs of clients, offering training as well as HR consultancy services. The most qualified and experienced professionals were brought in as lecturers and consultants—the rest, as it is said, is history in the making! Within a span of just 18 months, Strategic HR Services has won the confidence of some of the topmost corporate houses in the country, spanning the public and private sectors as well as national, international and multinational companies.
