Mizoram Government, in 2003, selected him among the top 42 motivators in the country it interviewed and invited him for motivating the 575 fresh graduates of the state as a part of their ambitious human resource development drive. In terms of impact it had on them, 95% of the participants rated this 3 day motivational workshop as a ‘10’ on a ten point scale.

He also writes prolifically for magazines of national and international repute and speaks passionately on subjects relating to attitudinal change and personal growth

 Ms. Suman Pahwa
 

Suman Pahwa has over 10 years of experience in the service industry out of which last 8 years have been in Training. Before taking up training as her core area of work,she has worked with Hutch and GE Capital.

Her Training experience , both in India and Abroad has helped her gain expertise in various facets of Training. She started her Training career with Evolv Management Services,one of the leading Training Companies in India. As part of her work Profile at Evolv, Suman was responsible for Training Trainers in facilitation skills as well as in modules on customer services, communication skills & business etiquette. Suman comes with a  rich experience in designing and rolling out processes built around skill assessment and enhancement. As part of her Training career, she has been actively involved in Training needs Analysis, Content design and Training Delivery for clients in India and Overseas.

 Prof. S. D. Tyagaraj
 

Prof. S D Tyagaraj (61) is a HRD Consultant. Till recently he was Dean (External Programs) with Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship, Bangalore. Earlier he has held many positions in HRD with Steel Authority of India Limited and has been the head of SAIL’s Management College. Prof. Tyagaraj holds a Masters Degree in Statistics from the prestigious Indian Statistical Institute, Calcutta with Diploma in Statistical Quality Control and Operations Research. He has been a Consultant on Statistical Process Control with Indian Statistical Institute for 8 years, before joining SAIL.Mr. Tyagaraj has attended many training management courses both in India and abroad. He holds a certification from Industrial Society, UK as a Certified Tutor to conduct Action Centred Leadership courses. He has designed Executive Development Programs for executives at different levels and has conducted many such programs.Mr. Tyagaraj has held several teaching and managerial positions at Management Training Institute, Ranchi. Shri Gupta is B.Com; Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (All India Rank Holder) and M.B.A. (U.K.). He was the head of the Cost, Budget and MIS Group of Corporate Finance.  He was awarded the `Jawahar Award`.  Best Group Performance Award was also conferred on his group.  He had undergone six weeks training in U.K. on `Advanced Financial Management` from Royal Institute of Public Administration.  He was the member of the delegation headed by Chairman, BICP for conducting cost study of the steel producing companies in Germany, U.K., France and U.S.A.  He was also associated with the working group constituted by the Planning Commission to recommend measures to improve resource mobilization by Public Sector Enterprises for the 9th Five year Plan.  He served as Director (Finance) in the Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Industry, and Govt. of India for about 3 years. He served as Professor for about 2 and 1/2years   in National Institute of Financial Management, Faridabad, an Institute built to impart training to IAS probationers.  Presently, he is working as Joint Director (Finance) .  He has contributed Articles in Economic Times and Kaleido SCOPE.

Dr. Vimal Kumar Sharma is a Senior Faculty at MTI, Ranchi. During his total experience of 30 years in SAIL he has held the responsible positions in areas like Purchase, Material Planning & Procurement, Stores Management, Insurance Contracts, Settlement of Insurance Claims with Railways, General Insurance Companies, Inventory Control and Computerization of Inventory Management.

After working in shop floor, he has established himself as a well-recognized corporate trainer. He has conceived, designed and delivered more than hundred training programs and workshops for corporate. He had organized various programmes on Materials Management, Contract Management, Business Finance, Communication & Presentation Skills, PC Skills, Training of Trainer’s Programme, Strategic Management, MDPs Performance improvement Workshop etc. Other assignments include conducting post-training evaluation of training programmes, development of case studies, articles, book review etc.

 

He is a recipient of President Award (1986), and CSIR Scholarship (1975).

 Mr. Sanjay Dhar
 

Mr. Sanjay Dhar Bsc. Engg, MBA is a Sr. Faculty member at Management Training Institute (MTI), Ranchi, the Corporate Training Institute of SAIL.  He has extensive experience of designing and conducting management training and workshops for Senior Executives since 1998. Mr. Dhar has extensive experience of facilitating the launch of KM initiatives in SAIL.  Mr. Naveen Coomar
 

A University of Leeds (UK) and IIM-A alumni with over 24 years of corporate

experience of handling and managing HR portfolio in organizations - small (1000

employees) to large company (over 36000 employees) in manufacturing and process

organizations; from the traditional economy sector as well as IT and Services from the Knowledge sectors of business. Has successfully established at least three
